Laboratory quality control and assurance standards are essential if data generated is to have meaning and value. Speed of turnaround and costs are also factors by which customers judge a laboratory, but essentially it is the accuracy and precision of data which is critical.
NRM has systems and protocols in place to assure the quality of all analytical data that is generated. Quality assurance follows the sample from receipt, throughout its analysis, to the point at which results data are reported. It also covers the analytical and data management systems of the laboratory.
Internal quality control ensures the daily production of accurate data and gives customers the assurance of the high quality standards to which NRM works. NRM’s work is further enhanced by the accreditation and compliance to external independent quality standards.
