NRM Ltd is required to participate in CONTEST, the PT Scheme for the Contaminated Land Industry

Participation in CONTEST, the proficiency testing scheme for soil, is a requirement of the UK Environment Agency’s Monitoring Certification Scheme (MCERTS) “Performance Standard for Laboratories Undertaking Chemical Testing of Soil”.

The scheme is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).  The structure and organisation of CONTEST follows international guidelines as documented in ‘The International Harmonised Protocol for the Proficiency Testing of (Chemical) Analytical Laboratories’, ISO/IEC Guide 43:Part 1 and ILAC-G13:2000.
